Recently, I made an excellent decision to finally watch Breakfast at Tiffany's. I understand what all the hype about Ms. Hepburn is: she is luminescent onscreen. She is elegant, classic, put-together, and disciplined. She doesn't need to be a DD to be sexy; she cascades around the room as if she owns it, which, in my opinion, is the ultimate definition of sexiness... confidence. She beats to the rhythm of her own drum and makes everyone else try to imitate her beat.
Marilyn Monroe
Are diamonds a girl's best friend? It seems more likely that the shiny rock plays a third-wheel role to Marilyn's monumental curves. There doesn't seem to be a man she can't seduce, and with sex appeal comes sheer power. Even decades later she is laminated on college dorm rooms and only needs an utterance of her first name to be recognized. Justin Timberlake may be bringing sexy back, but many men would rather revisit the original sex icon that is Marilyn Monroe.
Blake Lively
There's a reason why my shopping mantra is "what would Blake do?" Anyone who is that close with Karl Lagerfeld is going to have an insatiable taste for fashion. She manages to be stylish, sexy, bold, and classic all at once while inspiring a whole new generation of fashionistas. Glamour is a lifestyle, or should I say lively-style.
